Enchanting raises an item's stats. Use enchant stones of the right level: the higher the plus, the lower the success chance and the higher the downgrade risk. Up to +10 risk is minimal, beyond that be careful.

Get enchant stones from the Wheel of Fortune, crafting and vendors. For expensive items use supplements that boost the chance — it saves both nerves and resources.

Don't gamble your only set all-in: stockpile stones, enchant in batches and lock in safe values. Patience yields a steady plus with no losses.
